Job Summary:

This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive IT support and infrastructure management within client environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily technical support for end-users and infrastructure within the client environment.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and MSP technical teams, ensuring proper escalation, coordination, and resolution of issues.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and device configurations in accordance with client policies and MSP guidelines.
  • Support and maintain desktop systems, servers, networking devices, and business applications.
    • Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, network devices, firewalls, and cloud services.
    • Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity solutions.
    • Perform patch management, system updates, and security hardening of endpoints and infrastructure.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls through platforms like Active Directory, Azure AD, and M365.
    • Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, cloud migrations, and system implementations.
  • Perform proactive maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of client systems, both on-site and remotely.
  • Assist with client IT projects such as migrations, system upgrades, or hardware rollouts.
  • Document all service activities in the MSP ticketing and documentation systems, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Provide recommendations on system improvements, security enhancements, and operational efficiencies to both the client and MSP.
  • Enforce IT security policies and best practices within the client site, including endpoint protection, patch management, and backup monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for client environments, processes, and service tickets.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware/software procurement and escalation.

Qualifications:

  • Years of Relevant Work Experience At least 2 years and above
  • Educational Background: College Grad. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Basic to advanced knowledge in endpoint management
  • Basic to advanced knowledge network and security
  • Basic to advanced knowledge compute and storage
  • Basic to advanced knowledge cloud services
  • Advance knowledge and skills in network equipment configuration and firewall troubleshooting
  • Familiar in network subnetting, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), inter-VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), routing, security, and other network equipment commands and features.
  • Certification in network, security, and system administration.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows/Linux server roles and functions such as DHCP, DNS, AD, WSUS, Proxy, etc.
