Job Summary:

This role is responsible for designing and delivering tailored technical solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Business Solutions Managers (BSMs), Distributors, and Principals to create tailored fit Bills of Materials for every project.
  • Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our products and services.
  • Create Network Design/Architecture based on customer requirements.
  • Develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical inquiries.
  • Work and collaborate with the Business Technology System Group (BTSG) and Technical Support Department (TSD) and other related teams/units, including product development and engineering, to ensure proposed solutions are viable and align with the company’s offerings.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure timely updates, efficient resolution of issues, and seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the implementation team to facilitate a smooth hand-over process, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction through successful technology delivery and implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations and insights.
  • Continuously enhance your expertise by successfully completing all required product training and certifications.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by diligently identifying and resolving all technical issues within assigned accounts at every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Submit a daily/weekly report to immediate supervisor (Senior Technical Manager / AVP / VP)
  • Support the broader sales team and company goals in any way necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field of study
  • At least 1 year experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, or similar role.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies and platforms (e.g.,Firewall, Switches, Wireless, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Detection &Response, Servers and Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs andsolutions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technicalconcepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support sales activities.
  • Experience in Network Infrastructure and Security
  • Willingness to render extra hours that includes weekends and holidays.
